Man Held Over Attack on Man in Greenock
A man has been arrested in connection with a senseless attack'' which led to the death of a man.
Jamie Walsh, 23, from Greenock was killed during the disturbance at a flat in Wren Road, Greenock, at around 7.10pm on Thursday.
Detective Inspector Margaret Ann May described the incident as 'a senseless attack' in which a young man lost his life.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the death.
