Police are investigating complaints of sectarian signing on a train in the central belt.

British Transport Police say it happened on the 23:36 service travelling between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth on Thursday the 19th of February.

The group of men involved were believed to be returning from Celtic's Europa League match against Inter Milan.

Constable John McErlane, the BTP officer in charge of the inquiry says: "There is really no need for such unsavoury behaviour on the rail network and the actions of the men disgusted other passengers, prompting complaints and I am anxious to speak with anyone who witnessed it to get in touch."
