Two people have appeared in court over the death of a toddler in Birkenhead
2 year old Teddy Tilston was found unresponsive at his home last week, and died later at Arrowe Park
Craig Smith who's 28 and 24 year old Ashley Willet both looking visibly distressed as they appeared in the dock.
Smith shook throughout the hearing - he's accused of murder and two counts of child neglect. One charge relates to Teddy, and the other relates to his twin sister Cassidy.
His case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court and Smith will appear there on Wedensday.
Willet then appeared in the dock where magistrates debated her application for bail, before deciding to remand her in custody.
