Take That is first gig announced for Anfield in 10 years

Liverpool have announced the first gig at Anfield in ten years - TAKE THAT will play the stadium on Thursday 6th June next year
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9.30am
The show will be part of their Greatest Hits Tour 2019.
“It's a real honour for us to be able to play Anfield, such an historic ground and venue. The Liverpool audiences have always been incredible” said the band.
The application for six concerts a year to be held at the home of Liverpool FC was approved by Liverpool City Council's planning committee last month
A council spokesman said the stadium had been given a temporary two-year licence.
Sir Paul McCartney played the last concert at Anfield in 2008 as part of the city's Capital of Culture celebrations
