Police name man murdered in Kirkdale

The 33-year-old was found in an alleyway

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Kirkdale on Wednesday (22 September) have confirmed that the victim's been formally identified as 33-year-old James Richards from the L11 area of Liverpool.

Merseyside Police say James’ next of kin are being supported by specialist officers as the investigation into his death continues.

A 22-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
