Merseyside Police have shared footage of the moment they arrested a suspect, as officers continue to investigate the murder of 26-year-old Elle Edwards.

The beautician was out with her sister and friends on Christmas Eve, when she was shot dead at the Lighthouse Inn, Wallasey.

Police say they don't believe she was the intended target.

They believe the gunman fired shots towards the front entrance of the pub and that minutes later a dark-coloured vehicle "possibly an A class Mercedes" was seen leaving the car park.

Three men were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and a number of others were injured in the incident.

Since Christmas Eve, three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Yesterday, (Thursday 29 December) officers confirmed a 31-year-old man from Tranmere had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Detectives have also been given additional time to question a 30-year-old man from Tranmere, arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, and a 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
