A pensioner is in critical condition after a collision in West Kirkby on Monday
Officers were called to Grange Road at 6.35pm to reports of a male pedestrian having been involved in collision with a car.
A 75-year-old man was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
