Pedestrian hit by car in Norris Green

A person's been rushed to hospital after they were hit by a car in Norris Green.

Emergency services were called to Townsend Lane yesterday evening (Tuesday 18 May) at around 6.55pm to reports of a collision between a Citroen C3 and a male pedestrian.

We haven't been told the extent of his injuries, but he was taken to hospital.

Merseyside Police say the driver of the car did stop at the scene.
