More and more staff to leave Merseyside NHS over abuse from patients
At the moment, there are four-thousand job vacancies for nurses across the North West
There are warnings more and more staff will leave Merseyside's NHS if something isn't done about the amount of abuse they face on a daily basis.
It comes a day after a committee in parliament warned the health service is facing its 'worst staffing crisis ever''.

"We've heard about people being punched in the face, being throttled and grabbed by the throat. That is just unacceptable.

"Nobody could pay you enough to be punched in the face unless you are a mixed martial arts fighter".
