Merseyside Police are appealing for information
A man has been stabbed in the back and arm as well as cut in the neck at a Norris Green house party on Sunday July 30th.
Police were called to the house on Townsend Avenue after receiving report of an altercation at 12:50pm.
The injured man was found at the scene and was taken to hospital for treatment- he is now recovering at home.
Two men reportedly fled the scene in a grey coloured Peugeot car, driven in the direction of the East Lancashire Road.
An investigation is underway with officers carrying out forensic, CCTV, house-to-house and witness enquiries.
There is a plea for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said:
“Thankfully the victim sustained injuries which are not life threatening and is now recovering at home.
“We are continuing with enquiries into this incident, and I would appeal to those who we haven’t already spoken who were at the party to please contact us.
“I would also ask people who were in the area to check dashcam or CCTV footage for a grey Peugeot car which may be vital to the case.
