Man charged with West Derby murder

Merseyside Police have charged a man with the murder of Paul Stenson in West Derby earlier this month.

Officers were contacted at just after 6.30am on Sunday 19 December following reports that the 30-year-old had received a stab wound to his chest.

North West Ambulance Service attended and he was taken to hospital where he sadly died.

Adam Fletcher, aged 28 of Palace Road, Liverpool was charged on Christmas Eve (Friday 24 December) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 31 January 2022.
