Man charged with murder after teenager killed in St Helens crash

A 24 year old man has been charged with murder and causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving after the death of a teenager in St Helens.

17 year old Harley Lea was rushed to hospital following a collision involving a car and two motorbikes at the junction of Park Road and Boardmans Lane at around 12.30am yesterday, Tuesday 4th October. He died shortly after.

Brandon Glover, who's from St Helens, has also been charged with GBH and attempted GBH.

He's due before Wirral Magistrates tomorrow.

A 19-year-old man who had also been arrested in connection with the crash has been released with no further action.

Two other males injured in the incident remain in hospital and enquiries are ongoing.
