Man charged with murder of teen at Liverpool Internet Café

A man's been charged with the murder of Michael Toohey in Liverpool city centre.

A man's been charged with the murder of Michael Toohey in Liverpool city centre.

18-year-old Michael passed away following an assault at an internet café on London Road at 5.50pm on Saturday 16 April.

A post mortem has confirmed he died from multiple injuries.

Anthony Williams, 31, of Hillbrook Drive, Walton has been charged with his murder.

Merseyside Police say he has been remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 17 May).

A 33-year-old man of no fixed address, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been conditionally bailed.

A 34-year-old woman from Fazakerley remains on bail following her arrest last month on suspicion of assisting an offender.
