If you're trying to get in and out of Liverpool tonight - the advice is to check before you travel. A number of rail replacement buses are in operation outside of Lime Street to Runcorn if you're heading to London, Huyton if you're heading to Wigan and Preston and South Park Way if you're heading to Manchester and the East Coast

East Midlands Trains

Services starting and terminating at Manchester Oxford Road

Anyone travelling to Liverpool South Parkway can use Northern and TransPennine Express services between Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool South Parkway

Customers may use Merseyrail services between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Central

Buses will run between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street

London Midland

Services starting and terminating at Liverpool South Parkway

You can use Merseyrail between South Parkway and Central

London Midland customers may use their tickets on Merseyrail via any reasonable route.

Northern

Limited services are running between: Wigan and Huyton

Manchester Victoria and Huyton

Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool South Parkway

Northern customers may use their tickets on services between: Hunts Cross and Central

Transpenine Route between Manchester and Liverpool

Bus service between Lime Street and Huyton

TransPennine Express

Services starting and terminating at South Parkway

Coaches between Lime Street and Newcastle are starting and terminating at Manchester Victoria

TransPennine Express customers may use their tickets on Northern Trains, Merseyrail and:

East Midlands Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield

Metrolink between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria

Virgin Trains

Services down to London on Virgin Trains are starting and ending at Runcorn

You can catch a rail replacement bus at Runcorn Station which will take you to Lime Street
