Merseyside's gearing up to host the first ever Match for Peace anywhere in the UK, in a bid to help the millions suffering humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

A full house is expected at Goodison tonight as Everton host Dynamo Kyiv in their last friendly before the start of the new season.

It's to raise funds to help rebuild the country still trying to recover from the Russian invasion.

Richard Kenyon, Director of Communications, Revenue and International Growth at Everton, said:

“This hugely important Match for Peace will raise vital funds for the humanitarian effort in Ukraine.

“The Club stands with all Ukrainians and I’m sure all Evertonians will show their support at Goodison.”
