Girl, 12, fighting for life after hit by van in Liverpool

A 12-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital, after she was hit by a van in Liverpool.

It happened at around 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 June), as she got off a bus on Princess Drive.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the girl was then taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Merseyside Police say the driver of the van is assisting with their enquiries.
