As tens of thousands head to Creamfields, festival bosses say the anticipation for this year's event is off the charts.

The Four day rave will see 70 thousand dance music fans pack into the fields around Daresbury to watch artists such as Eric Prydz, Carl Cox and CamelPhat.

The event had to be cancelled last year due to Covid.

John Probyn is Festival Manager, he's told us that makes this year's show even more special for him :

"Opening the gates is one of the most magical things that I get to do and I think this year it'll be ten fold. this is the biggest weekend of some people's lives.

"On Saturday night I'll go up on the stage and just look out over seventy thousand people having the best time ever".

The pandemic means there's had to be some changes this year, John's been talking us through what people will need to bring with them :

"Demonstrate proof of double vaccine with the last one within fourteen days of the event, proof of a negative lateral flow test taken on the morning prior to arrival, and all that can be done through the NHS app or webiste. It's dead easy".
