Everton shareholders say they're hoping to hear more about the club's plans for a new stadium at Bramley Moore tonight
The Blues are holding their Annual General Meeting at the Philharmonic
Farhad Moshiri is expected to attend, where the club will talk through their accounts.
Late last year the club exchanges contracts on the land at Bramley Moore Dock, as they push forward their plans for a new stadium on Liverpool's Waterfront
They said that the costs have escalated significantly
Everton now faces borrowing more than the initial £300m that was expected to cost ahead of the start of the planning process
Speaking earlier Chief Executive Robert Elstone said: ""The premium for the waterfront site, an ambitious capacity that we will test with more rigour, a design we can all be proud of and the simple but painful impact of inflation, have all contributed to an increased overall cost and a funding target which continues to grow."
Elstone also announced that the club now hope to move into their new home for the 2022/23 season
Chair of Everton shareholders John Blaine said: "This thing has run for quite a while. I think some good news, and evidence of progress and some pictures will drag attention."
"If it looks as iconic as Dan (Meiss) has teased everyone on twitter, it's going to be really good"
