Everton issue Covid protocls for fans attending Goodison from the weekend
You'll need either proof of vaccination or evidence of a negative lateral flow test
Everton Football Club have issued COVID-19 protocols for supporters visiting Goodison Park from this weekend.
Following the Government’s recent announcement of the introduction of ‘Plan B’, adult supporters seeking entry to ALL Premier League stadiums are now legally required to demonstrate proof of at least two vaccine doses, a negative lateral flow test taken within the 24 hours prior to kick-off, or an exemption.
These are the measures in place for supporters attending Goodison Park from our fixture against Leicester City on December 19:
• All match attendees aged 18 and over should complete the self-certification form emailed to them in advance of the game in order to declare their COVID status before attending Goodison Park.
• All match attendees aged 18 and over must bring a valid COVID Pass or proof of a negative lateral flow/PCR test taken within 24 hours before the fixture, and be prepared to show it when asked.
• All match attendees unable to show a valid COVID Pass (provided they do not have an exemption pass) or proof of a negative lateral flow/PCR test will be denied entry to Goodison Park.
After submitting a self-certification form in advance of matchday, Season Ticket Members will not be required to complete an additional form for each subsequent fixture.
In line with revised Premier League requirements, matchday spot checks will be increased significantly and we urge fans to arrive early, as this will have an impact on entry times.
Supporters who are unable to provide one of the above conditions of entry, when asked on matchday, will be refused admission to the stadium. This will also impact a supporter’s ability to attend future games until they can prove they have met the legal requirements of stadium entry.
For clarity, the accepted evidence of vaccine certification are:
• NHS COVID-19 Pass, PDF Form, or a GP Paper Letter.
Accepted evidence of LFT/PCR negative result:
• NHS email or text message.
Accepted evidence of exemption:
• From 25th December, evidence of exemption will only be accepted in the form of an NHS COVID Pass or a GP Letter. Without this pass, you will not be admitted.
There are currently no COVID requirements for U18s. However, we do strongly encourage supporters in all age groups to take a test on the day of the game, for the additional safety of all supporters.
Supporters who have already bought match tickets for the game at Chelsea, on Thursday, December 16 and at Burnley on Boxing Day will be required to provide evidence of their vaccination status or a negative test result when attending Stamford Bridge and/or Turf Moor.
All individual match ticket holders for the upcoming home games against Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion should also self-certify, and will be subject to spot checks and refused entry if they do not comply with the legal entry requirements.
Anyone purchasing tickets for multiple supporters for future games will be asked, as part of the purchase process, to confirm that all members in the party are either double vaccinated, medically exempt or will take a lateral flow test up to 24 hours prior to the match.
Supporters are required to bring a face covering to wear at all times when inside the stadium.
All payments inside the stadium will be contactless, to speed movement through concourses and minimise contact at all points of sale.
As part of the matchday Code of Conduct, supporters should not attend Goodison if they have returned a positive COVID-19 test within 24 hours of the fixture, if they have any COVID symptoms – including a high temperature, new continuous cough, or a loss of sense of taste/smell.
