The family of a Merseyside teenager killed in the Manchester Arena attack have launched a charity in her memory.
15 year old Megan Hurley was among the 22 people who lost their lives in the terror attack last year
The Megan Hurley Foundation aims to provide support for self employed families who have lost a loved one.
Megan's brother Bradley said: "The purpose is to initially help people in the early stages of something tragic happening, so it takes that weight off"
"There's nothing out there like this, as far we know that supports families like this, so I think it's a really good idea"
"Hopefully it will be around for a long time helping people, because it is something that we feel that people need in place"
Speaking about the launch of the Foundation, Megan's parents Micheal and Joanne, together with Bradley said: "Anyone who has set up a charity will know how much of a lengthy, difficult process it can be especially in these circumstances.
"We wanted to get this out there as quick as possible so that Megan’s name would live on through helping others. That is the type of person Megan was.
