Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a sexual assault in a bar in Liverpool City Centre.

It happened at around 8:50pm on April 30 in Coyote Ugly on Bold Street.

A man allegedly touched a woman inappropriately. He was then removed by security.

Police have released new images of a man (above) who they think may have witnessed what happened.

This is in addition to an image issued on June 1 of another man who may have information.

Police previously released this image of a man they want to speak to

Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This was a disgraceful assault on a woman and we are determined to find the person responsible.

“We are taking this incident extremely seriously and I am appealing to the man featured in this image, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

"We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.

"If anyone has suffered a sexual offence and can find the courage to come forward and speak to us, we will deal with you sensitively and make sure that reports are thoroughly investigated."
