A man from Bootle has been sentenced to four years in prison following a County Lines investigation into drug dealing.

Craig Kenny, 21, of Norton Street, Bootle, pleaded guilty to supplying crack and heroin and he was jailed for four years at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 12 December.

It follows an investigation into a ‘Scouse Jack’ County Lines operation, which saw drugs supplied to Runcorn.

Detective Inspector Gary Stratton said:

“We welcome this sentencing as Kenny is now behind bars and has time to reflect on his criminal activity.

“The sentencing of Kenny forms part of Project Medusa, which is our ongoing work to tackle suspected County Lines drug supply and the criminal exploitation of vulnerable people.

“We have disrupted a chain of supply and taken a significant quantity of drugs off the streets and further afield, preventing them from damaging communities.

“We will continue to respond to all information given on suspected drug supply, in Merseyside and further afield.”
