Baby attacked by dog in Sefton

A baby's been airlifted to hospital, after he was attacked by a dog in Sefton.

Emergency services were called to Marian Gardens in Bootle yesterday (Sunday 7 February) just before 1.30pm, to reports the 17 month old had been bitten on the leg.

His injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

Police say the dog has been seized - and its owner will be questioned.
