Aunt launches campaign to slow road where Violet-Grace was killed
Over 3,000 people have signed a petition to back the plan
The grieving aunt of Violet-Grace Youens has launched a campaign to slow down the road where Violet-Grace was killed.
Lisa Leonard started the petition three days ago and it has now been signed by almost 4,000 well-wishers.
Lisa, and Violet-Grace’s family, want to get speed bumps added to Prescot Road in St. Helens, where four-year-old Violet-Grace lost her life after being hit by a suspected stolen car.
Lisa, 42, would also like a pedestrian crossing put in place with signs saying “slow down for Violet”.
