Take That postpone Liverpool show following Manchester terror attack

Following the terror attacks outside of the Manchester Arena last night, Take That have postponed their 'Wonderland' show in Liverpool this evening (Tuesday 23rd May).

The band, who were due to perform their second show at Liverpool's ECHO Arena tonight have released the following statement...

"Out of respect to all of the people and their families that were affected by the horrific incident last night at The Manchester Arena, we have decided to postpone our show tonight in Liverpool. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all"

The band are also due to perform at the Manchester Arena on Friday 26th May, but are yet to confirm whether the gig will go ahead.

They also have upcoming dates in Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Swansea and Norwich.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed 22 people have died with another 59 people injured after an 'explosion' occurred after Ariana Grande's 'Dangerous Woman' concert at the Manchester Arena.

Here's how the events unfolded on Monday night.

Two victims have now been named as 18-year-old Georgina Bethany Callander and 8-year-old Saffie Roussos.

Greater Manchester Police released a statement saying it was 'the most horrific incident' they as a force have had to deal with. The full statement also confirmed that the attacker died at the arena and they believe he used an 'improvised explosive device.'
