Two men have been arrested after armed officers stopped a car near Goodison Park
Merseyside Police say they stopped a vehicle on Walton Lane with the junction of Spellow Lane around 6.05pm on Wednesday night
One man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and the unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle,
Another was arrested on suspicion of the unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle, disqualification from driving and firearms offences.
They're currently being questioned by detectives.
