Training with Sean Dodd
This week we trained with Birkenhead's Sean Dodd as he prepared for his fight with Scott Cardle on Saturday night.
The rematch will be held in the Echo Arena and will see Dodd attempt to take the British title.
Last year, the Birkenhead boxer took centre stage in a fight against Gary Buckland by standing in late for an injured Cardle. Dodd stunned the crowd with his surprising performance and secured his place among the best.
Following the win, Dodd took on Scott Cardle to win the British title but after another impressive show, the fight was stopped by the referee in the defining moments.
We sat down with the man himself and discussed the seriousness of the sport and how he's feeling ahead of the big night.
