Three people are being questioned after shots were fire in Stockbridge Village last week

Police were called to Round Hey at 9.45pm to reports that damage had been caused to a vehicle Upon arrival they found that damage had been caused to the back windscreen and side window of a Nissan Qashqai.

At the same time a male was seen in the area pushing a bike with what is believed to be bloodstains on his clothing. It is not clear at this time who the male was, the extent of his injuries, or how they were caused. It is believed he may have left the area in a dark coloured car.

A 24 year-old from Huyton and a 21 year-old from Stockbridge Village were bailed pending further enquiries.

A 24 year-old man from Stockbridge Village who was seen in the area close to the incident and subsequently presented himself at hospital having suffered shotgun pellet injuries was later discharged.

He was also arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
