Teenager seriously hurt after stabbing in Kirkby
Merseyside Police are appealing for information following an assault in Kirkby yesterday, Monday 30 October.
A 16 year old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in a Kirkby street
At about 4.45pm on Monday, officers were called to James Holt Avenue to a report that a 16-year-old male had stab wounds to his arm and abdomen. He has been taken to hospital and is described as being in a serious but stable condition.
A group of offenders may have left the scene in a black car, although conflicting reports suggest they were seen running off.
A scene was in place to allow for forensic investigations to take place and CCTV opportunities are being explored.
