Detectives investigating the murder of Blake Brown in Aigburth have arrested a sixth man.

Blake, 30, was shot dead just over a week ago.

A 31-year-old man from Egremont, Wirral, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officers arrested two other people after warrants were executed at two separate addresses.

A 29-year-old man from Stockbridge Village and an 18-year-old woman from Kirkby have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm.

They have all been taken to police stations where they will be questioned by detectives.
