Shots Fired In Bootle

Police are investigating after a house was shot at in Bootle on Tuesday night. At about 6.30pm a report was received that shots had been fired in the vicinity of Bedford Road. Officers attended and found damage to the front window of a property consistent with a firearms discharge. No one has been reported as being injured at this time. The scene has been sealed for forensic examination, house-to-house enquiries are underway and patrols have been stepped up in the area.
