The mum of a teenager killed in a scrambler bike accident in Liverpool has paid an emotional tribute to her 'most loving, caring, generous son.'

17 year old Ben Phillips died after when his bike collided with a car in Belle Vale on Thursday

In a statement, Andrea Phillips said;

"My Ben could only be described as the most loving, caring, generous son anyone could ask for. He had the most impeccable manners and respect for everyone he met.

"Ben loved to go fishing but motorbikes were his passion from such an early age. He had many ambitions and plans for the future, which have now been taken away from him.

"Ben spent a lot a time with his girlfriend of five years, Toni. He also had a great set of friends who loved him dearly. He touched so many people's lives in his short life.

"My Ben will be sadly missed by all his cousins and family. His sudden death has affected a huge amount of people."
