A man's been arrested and a scrambler bike's been seized in Speke

Merseyside Police has arrested one man and seized suspected stolen off-road vehicles as part of a continuing crackdown on scrambler bikes across Merseyside. A warrant was executed this morning at an address in Central Way, Speke, resulting in the seizure of a suspected stolen blue Yamaha off-road bike. A 30-year-old man from Speke has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives. A further warrant was executed at an address in Chirton Court, Tuebrook, resulting in suspected mini quad bikes being seized. Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.
