Hillsborough Appeal: Photos Re-released

Photographs have been released on behalf of the coroner at the new Hillsborough inquests. The images are of two men it's believed helped others on the day.

The re-launch follows detailed enquiries by investigators after identifications were made when the pictures were first released by Operation Resolve on behalf of HM Assistant Coroner.

Detectives have spoken to the two people who were initially believed to be the individuals pictured. Pictures of both fans who each assisted someone who died on Saturday 15 April 1989 are therefore going back onto the appeal website (www.operationresolve.co.uk).

In all of the appeals made so far this year 45 people have been identified but investigators still want to speak to 47 others.
