Herbert of Liverpool to be laid to rest
Thousands expected to turn out to pay their respects.
The funeral service of legendary Liverpool hairdresser Herbert Howe takes place in the city later.
The 72 year old lost a battle with cancer two weeks ago.
Thousands are expected to line the streets for the occasion, with famous faces from across Merseyside also in attendance.
The cortege will leave Herbert's salon on Hanover Street at 12.30pm, and mourners are asked to wear pink and black.
A service at the Anglican Cathedral gets underway at 1.30pm, with members of the public welcome to attend.
