Everton have announced a series of tributes to be made to Howard Kendall this weekend - to mark the one year anniversary of his death

The Blues' Greatest ever manager died at the age of 69 last October.

His image wearing the number four shirt he was synonymous with will be shown on the stadium screens for Sunday’s game against West Ham when the clock reaches four minutes.

The Club has been working with Everton fan groups to support their plans on how best to celebrate the life of Everton’s greatest-ever manager on the day.

Everton fan groups are asking fans to join them in applause and chanting on four minutes – and at several points during the game - to mark poignant moments in Howard’s Everton career.

Fan groups are also encouraging supporters to add colour to Goodison Park and make noise for the Blues Giant throughout the game in appreciation of his achievements with the Toffees.

In advance of kick-off, the Club will be showing clips of Howard’s classic managerial and playing moments on the stadium screens, as well as devoting a page of the matchday programme to a tribute to the Everton great.
