A month-long public consultation on a multi-million pound transport revamp of Liverpool city centre will be launched this week.

The £45m scheme includes eight major projects that it's hoped will transform how people move around the city centre by foot, bike, car, coach and bus.

Key elements include a major extension of St George’s Plateau on Lime Street and reducing The Strand from an eight to a four lane, tree lined highway with a cycle lane connecting the north and south of the city.
