A 10 year old boy from Litherland is heading to the United States today for potentially life saving treatment - after people across Merseyside & the world helped get him there.

Charlie Fearns has been diagnosed with lekuemia for a third time. After a bone marrow transplant, his only option left is expiremental treatment only availible in the US & China.

A fundraising page, that was set up to help pay for it reached a staggering £140'000 within a couple of months of being set up.

His dad Robbie told us how overwhelmed he was by the support they have received from all over the world that has given Charlie the chance he needs.

"We always knew we'd get here but didn't think we'd get there this quickly."

"It's phenomenal to see this city come together and not just this city. It was overwhelming, and it still is. It still hasn't sunk in yet."

You can still donate to #charlieschance and the money will go towards other families who are in need of donations and to help the Fearns family over in America.
