Cannabis Farm Found In Tuebrook

A man has been arrested after what's been described by police as a "significant quantity of cannabis" was found at a house in Tuebrook.

Officers from the Tackling Gangs Action Programme, executed a warrant in Adelaide Close and recovered 184 cannabis plants from the bedrooms and basement.

Specialist from the force’s cannabis dismantling team have recovered the plants and the property has been forensically examined.

T/ Sergeant Mark Berry said: “This was a pre-planned warrant based on community intelligence and has resulted in us being able to take a large quantity of cannabis off our streets.

“ We take all reports of drugs activity seriously and recognise the impact that drugs can have on our community – on those who use them and the associated anti-social behaviour it brings to our streets. As we have done today. We will take robust action to put an end to the criminal behaviour of those involved in this type of organised crime.
