Police in Stockholm have revealed more about the deaths of the Warrington band Viola Beach.

A video released by the Swedish authorities uses eye witness accounts and cctv to show a reconstruction of the crash which occured after their first gig in Europe on February 13

Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Jack Dakin, Tom Lowe and manager Craig Tarry died when their car plummeted off a bridge.

The footage shows their hire car in a queue of vehicles waiting at a barrier which was blocking the entrance to the bridge.

Their car, a Black Nissan Qashqai is shown to be pulling out of the traffic and moving alongside the other cars and HGV. It then pauses before accelerating straight through the barrier into the canal 80ft below.

A medical report suggests the occupants probably died before the car hit the water.
