Two pug dogs stolen in a burglary in Prescot have been returned to their owners.

Officers were called to adress on Lawton Road on the 30th June when a number of males were reported to have arrived outside in a black mercedes.

The offenders forced entry to the rear of the house and took the keys to the victim’s white Mercedes car, and two pug dogs.

At the time Detective Constable Roy Waller said "I'd like to appeal to the consciences of the offenders and ask them put themselves in the victim's position and think how they would feel if this happened to them."

Now there's good news as Archie & Rocco were returned to their owners.
