Police probe Croxteth shooting

Police are investigating after shots were fired at a house in Croxteth over the weekend.

Merseyside Police is investigating after shots were fired at a house in Croxteth on Saturday evening.

At 11.20pm officers were called to Armill Road, Liverpool 11 following a report of gunshots. On arrival patrols discovered damage to a property consistent with a firearm discharge and officers currently remain at the scene. No-one was injured.

High visibility patrols have been stepped up in the area to reassure the local community. An investigation led by Matrix Serious Organised Crime unit has been launched.
