Over the half-term week CFM listeners were asked to vote for their favourite attractions in Cumbria & South West Scotland.

While the weather might have been far from fantastic this week, there are a number of great attractions in our area that a lot of people hold close to their heart.

Thank you if you took time to vote. We revealed the most fabulous 5 for the first time at 5.40pm on Friday as part of the Home Run with Chris Felton. Here's how it went:

Congratulations to Watchtree Nature Reserve for receiving the most votes and ranking top of our list.

When manager Ryan Dobson was asked by Chris what he thought made Watchtree so popular he said "There's a lovely kind of community spirit around the place. We try and do what makes our local community happy and, as a result, they support us."
