Man attacked by three men in Carlisle

Police are investigating a reported assault, which occurred on Saturday 20th August 2022 at approximately 11:45am, on Wigton Road next to the junction to Wheatlands, Carlisle.

The reported incident involved four males.

The report is of three men getting out of a white van and assaulting the fourth man, who was on foot.

Three of the men have been described at late 20's early 30's and of large build.

One man was described as having and having black hair and black or khaki shorts.

Another was possibly wearing a grey t-shirt.

The injured man was taken to hospital by a member of the public, with injuries not believed to be life-changing.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or who has dashcam footage of the incident or individuals involved.
