Balloon and lantern tributes for mother and one-year-old son later on today

A tribute to a mother and son from Cumbria who were found dead in their home will be held later today.
Almost ÂŁ7000 has been raised for the funeral of Natalie Kane and her one year old baby, Harry, from Cumbria.
Natalie Kane, 27, was discovered by police with her one-year-old son Harry at their home in Whitehaven, Cumbria, after concerns for her well-being were raised on December 30.
Balloons and lanterns will be released at 7pm tonight (7th January) at Maryport Prominade in memory of them both.
Another small tribute will be held in Whitehaven at 2pm today (7th January).
Natalie’s brother, Shane Evitt, told CFM that they will be letting off balloons themed with Hey Duggee, Harry’s favourite cartoon.
"That was Harry's favourite programme, he loved it," said Shane.
"If he knew how much he was adored and everyone was proud of him, and Natalie was proud of him as well. It was just Harry, that's it. As long as she had Harry she was happy.
"Everyone will be down there from seven. We'll just have a quiet time, think about things with Natalie and what she's done for you, and then set the balloons and lanterns off. Create a nice atmosphere and give them one good send off.
"She was a strong person who just wanted Harry in her life. She passed her army training, she was in there for five years, I never thought she would ever pass it but she did. She proved us wrong."
Nearly ÂŁ7000 raised on Go-Fund-Me
A Go-Fund-Me page was started by Natalie's brother Shane Evitt, and the page has already raised nearly ÂŁ7000.
The fundraiser in their memory hopes to raise money for their funerals and any extra money is being donated to Women Out West, who provide a safe space for women in West Cumbria.
Natalie's brother has told us that they’ve had an overwhelming response from the community.
Shane said: "It's been amazing, it has. It goes to show some good things do come from the community don't they? It didn't think myself that it would be like this to be honest. It just shows that she was a really liked young lady."
On the website, Shane said: 'We would like to give Natalie's family a big help by contributing to this as this is what they deserve. Were not asking for the full amount but every little helps and if were to receive more than expected Natalie's brother Shane's chosen charity is Women Out West.
'This Charity helped Natalie out so much and Shane is so pleased that they were there for Natalie that this is the best way to say Thank you.'
