McBusted Announce Debut Album & Reveal Artwork
It's released just in time for Christmas
Pop supergroup McBusted have announced full details of their self-titled debut album!
Set for release on 1st December through Island Records, the 12-track album opens with lead single ‘Air Guitar’ and sees the six-piece join forces with some of their musical heroes.
Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus lends his vocals to second track ‘Hate Your Guts’ and he also co-wrote the song ‘Sensitive Guy’.
Tom Fletcher said: “He’s been such a huge influence on our song writing that to finally get in a room with him was so fun, if slightly surreal.”
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo also co-penned a track with the boys – the epic album closer ‘Getting It Out’.
As well as upbeat pop-punk gems the album includes the ballad ‘Beautiful Girls Are The Loneliest’ and the autobiographical ‘What Happened To Your Band’, which sees James Bourne address the demise of his previous group Busted.
All six members of McBusted – James, Tom, Danny, Harry, Dougie and Matt – contributed to the song writing in what their record label have described as a “wholly unique, perfectly matched meeting of best friends and musical minds.”
After merging in late 2013, McBusted played to 350,000 people on a sold out UK arena tour earlier this year and capped it off playing in front of 60,000 fans at London’s Hyde Park.
