Olly Murs is In:Demand
Olly Murs discusses his tour, his new single and missing out on a BRIT Award with Alex on In:Demand.
Alex catches up with Olly Murs in Birmingham for his tour to introduce his new single Army of Two and to discuss the BRIT Awards 2013. Olly speaks about the surprises on his current show but wasn't giving any spoilers away! So Alex asked him about what goodies he gets in his dressing room, to which Olly said, "I don't really have much on the rider any more. I've just managed to get a Baileys on the rider. I used to have beers then I got too drunk after shows and my voice was going so I've gone for more of a sophisticated drink." Talking about his video he says, "I wanted to do something different. There was a 148 takes of me walking, it's a lot in 18 hours! It was like doing the song 148 times - can you imagine how bored I am of the song now?!" When asked about losing out to Ben Howard at the BRIT Awards 2013, Olly said, "Ben is a great artist, I love his music and for him to win a BRIT, he must be delighted. Onwards and upwards, awards are awards, we all want to get them but I want to keep working hard." For more from Olly about his feelings on the BRIT Awards and other bits hit PLAY now!
