Partick Thistle bring in keeper Thorsten Stuckmann as cover

Partick Thistle have confirmed the signing of German goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann on a short-term deal.

The 35-year-old has been brought in by manager Alan Archibald until January after number one Tomas Cerny's foot complaint flared up again against St Johnstone last week.

The Jags' official website said the 6ft 6in goalkeeper, who had spells at Preston and Doncaster before leaving the latter in the summer, will go straight into Thistle's squad for the Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday.
