John Newman announces new album 'Revolve'
His new album will be released in October.
John Newman has announced his brand new album 'Revolve' will be released in October this year.
The Yorkshireman has had a string of hits from his platinum selling debut album, 'Tribute' and no doubt his success will continue with his latest offering.
Not only does 'Revolve' include hits 'Come And Get It' and his number one with Calvin Harris 'Blame' but fans can also access the catchy 'Lights Down' which is a "instant grat track" when they pre-order the new album. You can listen to 'Lights Down' here.
'Revolve' starts with a introduction from Idris Elba and was produced and recorded by John in London, LA and Miami.
Described as being "classic, timeless, but never retro", John worked on the album with a number of musicians and producers including Greg Kurstin, (Sia, Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry & Lana Del Ray) and Jerry Hey’s brass section (Michael Jackson’s‘ Thriller), he even recorded part of the album at Michael Jackson's old studio.
John will also be releasing a book of the same name which is a first person account of the creative process that goes into creating an album.
