Children running on M62 hold traffic
There were delays on the M62 last night as children were spotted running between traffic near Birstall
The M62 is reopen this morning, after children were spotted running between traffic on all four lanes last night.
Highways England say their control room noticed the children, and held the traffic so police could find them and bring them to safety.
It mean traffic stopped between junctions 27 and 28 around 8pm last night, which caused some delays.
They released CCTV images of 2 kids leaning by a motorway barrier under a bridge.
Once the children had been safely removed from the road the traffic was released, and Highways England had some sage advice...
